We arrived in Weston last Friday for nine days and ate at Tarantella the first night. The atmosphere was so charming welcoming and our waiter, Dominic, was so helpful - including advice on where to go during our stay - that we came back three nights later! The food was great during both visits, the meal relaxing and fun and on the second visit our waiter Bobby was excellent and charming. We still have four more nights here and I expect we'll go one more time.

My wife and just ate at Tarantella's in Weston town center, she had a pepperoni pizza, which was cooked to perfection, the pizza was loaded with cheese and had an abundance amount of pepperoni on it, yummy! I had the seafood salad which was loaded with calamari, shrimp, and clams the salad was light, fresh and flavorful. Bobby was our waiter, he was a lot of fun, singing there's a party on the patio. We didn't want to hurt his feelings, he needs signing lessons/ only kidding Bobby. Waiter was fun and the food was great!

Started off with a cold antipasti consisting of roasted assorted pepper strips, mushrooms, garlic, artichoke hearts, mozzarella and tomatoes all drizzled in extra virgin olive oil. It was excellent. Then came my lunch entree of eggplant parmigiana with a side of spaghetti in a light tomato sauce. The eggplant was not breaded as is usually the case in many Italian restaurants. It was sliced very thin, layered and smothered with melted cheese and tomato sauce. It was absolutely delicious. The pasta was high quality and cooked al dente. My only complaint was not enough pasta was served with the entree. My companion ordered the filet of lemon sole served with pasta in a white sauce. I tasted it. It was very good and well prepared. I like restaurants that are not chains and this place has excellent food coupled with great trattorias ambiance. The service was very good. Great for any occasion. A great place to take a date. Plenty of free parking. Open daily for lunch and dinner.

I loved the place, great atmosphere, great servers and best Italian food ever. I had a asiago gnochi and it was incredible good. The server was so sure I was gonna like it that even said he would swap it for a lasagna if I didn't like it! Give this place some shining stars.

Recently my family and I went to this restaurant to celebrate a job promotion I got. It's a local favorite of ours and we always go there when we have something to celebrate or have company from out of town. It's our way of treating ourselves and/or our guests. From the moment you walk through the door they treat you like family. Even if they don't remember you they act like they do. You always feel welcomed and like they are happy to see you. The service is always friendly and prompt. The food is always delicious. My favorite is their lasagna. My daughter always gets the pasta a la vodka. And my husband the cowboy steak special or the scallops. The servings are generous and it's always nice having leftovers to have the next day. We also love their guidotini drink. The ambience inside and out of the restaurant is very nice. We like sitting outside mostly when it's not too hot outside. The decor in the restaurant makes you feel like you really are at a restaurant in Italy. My family and I highly recommend it!

The meal began with an average antipasto followed by really good garlic bread. I then had the Penne in Vodka sauce. It was very good, the pasta was cooked well and the Vodka sauce was equally fine. Diane had the Lemon Sole- she gave me a taste- it was very tasty (it came with capers and very nice pasta). All in all it was a fairly average meal. I can't say anything was bad nor was anything really outstanding. It was clean (the restaurant area as well as the restroom). I had a good time at Tarantella Trattoria, but I'm not in a huge rush to go back for more. It was just fair.

The gnocchi in asiago are to die for! The spinach salad with pears, walnuts and feta is delicious. We ordered a pitcher of sangría and it was smooth and refreshing. A bit loud but good.

Great Authentic Italian Restaurant. Chicken carbonara and penne a la vodka were delicious among other things on the menu. My biggest compliment goes to the rest manager John! What a pleasure.. He explain every dish and he was just a wonderful person to talk to. We not only had amazing food but extraordinary service. We will be back very soon ! Strongly recommended !

We come down to Florida every February from Connecticut to get away from the cold for a week. Our first dinner is all ways at tarantella' restaurant. We always look forward to seeing John and Bobby. They are awesome people. Great food and atmosphere. The whole wait staff is wonderful. We highly recommend everyone going to tarantellas. It feels like going home to family.

The penne pasta with alfredo sauce was very very good. It was delicious (graham 9 years old). The farfalette with ham, peas and mushrooms was well seasoned and creamy. The lasagna was non traditional but good. The service was excellent. It is definitely a family friendly restaurant.

Consistently good italian food at a decent price. Had not been back for several years due to distance. Came here last night. Ordered the veal francese and was pleasantly surprised. My friend had the osso bucco which was also good. Its pretty casual - so dont expect anything too fancy decor wise. If you are looking for a good italian meal and not break the wallet this works. Seems to be popular with big groups too. Someone next to me had the calzone and it looked really good - and enormous

What a wonderful place with great people. Bottom line..great Italian food...tasted very authentic. Nice atmosphere. They even put on a basketball game for me in a private room. Very accommodating. Isaac the server was amazing. Great suggestions and showed sense of urgency with any request. I would highly reccommend this for a date or for just fun with the friends.

I love their daily specials. They always have something delicious like Seared Ahi Tuna or Spinach filled ravioli. My favorite dish is the steak salad. The steak is prepared just how I like it, medium rare, over a bed a leafy greens. I usually ask for a side of the raspberry balsamic vinaigrette. It's a killer dish!

Solid, Italian cuisine. Not amazing , but they have some great dishes. The ziti is great. Would go back and eat here again. The reason the stars aren't higher is because it didn't blow my socks off or anything. The server was very kind. This is more like a 3.75 rating (if they had one).

We have been to Tarantella for the past 4 years when here on vacation. We visit this restaurant at least twice each vacation. Great food and service. Veal dishes are wonderful, gnocchi, you can't go wrong here. Definitely have the cannelloni for dessert .....try it with Grand Mariner.

Authentic Italian. Not a place for only pizza and rolls. But I have never had good service there and have observed many problems with the manager. There are many other places to eat Italian in Weston. Keep searching/

About thirty of us got together for a mini-family reunion lunch at this beautiful, unpretentious, welcoming restaurant in Weston, Florida. My mother picked the spot because of its proximity to our Floridian relatives. She traveled down from New Jersey, I from Boston, MA. Frankly, it would be a worthy host to a family reunion even if we lived on the other end of the US. Here's why: The food was outstanding. OK, it wasn't one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant (a couple of ultra-romantic places I enjoyed with my wife in Boston, New York, and San Francisco would probably take the first three places) but man, my fish was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and extremely tasty. The five folks at my table really enjoyed their pasta, vegetable, fish, and chicken dishes. And the salads were beautiful to behold. I also sampled some delicious chocolate cake (and wanted to try to gorgeous looking cannoli I spied at another table). Good as the food was, it wasn't the best part. The service for our group was among the best I have ever experienced (the only place that rivaled it was a special dinner for two at the Taj in Atlantic City when we were waited on by no fewer than seven waiters). But I digress. Anticipatory without being intrusive, helpful without being awkwardly friendly -- these were expert waitstaff, well trained, and at the top of their game. The service was matched by a relaxed, welcoming, and beautiful decor that added a lot to my experience -- even though I generally don't care two whits for how a restaurant looks. It wasn't just that it was immaculate, it was also extremely festive without being garrish. What I liked most of all was the owner, who was in their pitching with his staff -- working the tables, keeping the food coming and the wine flowing. His charming presence turned a great dining experience into something I will never forget.

Working at software company in Weston and eat here almost every day. What a great place, Bobby the singing waiter is great. If anybody wants to learn how to deal with very challenging clientele like Weston people go watch him work and learn from him. Food is incredible i wonder why they have been in this city more than 18 years. Everyday fresh and special food, home made bread and pizza better than Italy. If you want really good one and if you are hungry try the OSSO BUCO or POUNDEDE VEAL CHOP. And Strawberry napolian as desert. GREAT stuff. It can not get better than that. I saw so many restaurants open and closed but Tarantella is winner. That s why we are still eating there.

Excellent food and service. Good choice for gluten free foods prepared in kitchen with the owner's oversight. My husband had their specialty dish osso bucco and he thought it one of the best.

Probably the worst meal I have ever had. Went here for lunch with a group of co-workers. Ordered the"Pollo Primavera" which was described as sauteed chicken with sauteed carrots, mushrooms, spinach and broccoli. What I got was a pile of mushy vegetables which were very obviously frozen and just heated up and slopped on the plate. Along with that were a couple of pieces of overcooked, dry chicken with no kind of sauce on it. I would be embarrassed to serve that meal to my family at home, much less in a restaurant. Will not be going back here even though I live and work very nearby.

Wow! Being from NJ I have found it difficult to find an authentic Italian restaurant until now. Every single dish we ordered at our table was absolutely delicious. The service was super friendly and fast. I felt like I was back in NJ eating a real Italian meal in a real Italian restaurant. I will definitely be back.

Local place in the Town Center. Had their Lobster Fra Diablo special last week. Whole Maine lobster, red sauce over spaghetti for $15.99 M-Th. Great deal and Yummy! May need to go back for this one. Chicken parm is always good too. Enjoy!

We have been eating at Tarantella Ristorante for about 7 years now. It is one of our spots we hit while we are on vacation in Weston. John, the GM is fantastic and has treated us like gold from the first time we started visiting the establishment. Osso Buco is what my wife and daughter orders when they go here. They love the Osso Buco and my wife says it is one of the best she has tasted. I have eaten quite a few different things and from Chicken Parm to pizza to the Filet al Barolo. For us, the service has always been very good. The food has been consistent which when you are on vacation is what you are looking for. If you are looking for a very good meal in a nice area of Weston, Florida, and some good Italian food, I highly recommend Trantella Ristorante and ask for John, the GM. He works there every night except Wednesdays. Tell him the Osso Buco family sent you via Yelp.

Had lunch there last Wednesday..We waited 12 minutes during a non crowded lunch time to be greated at a table..I ordered a calzone, and a pasta special...the calzone looked great but when I cut it open nothing was cooked. The cheese was still shredded and veggies still cold.. Our pasta special of the day was also cold and the pasta was solid hard..not even close to al dente...more like al harde. For this restaurant to still have issues after many years here in Weston..Lesson learned...go to Vignetos, la torreta, pizza heaven...stay away from this trap...

Visited Tarantella for the first time this past weekend. The appetizers were great, and everyone else enjoyed their meal, but my chicken parm was just O.K. The prices were reasonable and the service was good as well. What I found strange is that we were only a party of 4 and yet the tip was already factored in. Worse, it was hand written in by the waitress. I've never been to a restaurant that hand writs in the tip for a party of less than 6. I can say that Tarantella is a decent meal at a decent price.

We have been coming to Tarantella for years. The staff are always friendly, like a neighborhood place. My husband & I generally order our favorites, Linguine in white clam sauce & Chicken Marsala.. which are both delicious, like an 8 out of 10... last night we ordered something different, Fettuccine Bolognase & Chicken Francaise ... I kid you not, the best ever, 10 out of 10! Both dishes were excellent. The sauces were fantastic, the portions quite large.. so delicious, & we even had enough for a tasty snack today. We also had a ceasar salad, very good, & a piece of the Tarantella dessert, which is like a Napoleon, flaky dough, fresh delicious thick cream & fresh strawberries... fantastic as well! Definitely worth coming here! Thank you again... can't wait to come back.

My husband and I just ate dinner at Tarantella's to take advantage of their summer $10 specials. We were expecting small portions, due to the special, but to our surprise we were served a full portion and it was delicious. We both had chicken Parmesan that was cooked perfectly. Crunchy with lots of cheese and delicious sauce. Our server, Bobby, couldn't have been more charming. We will definitely be back!

[Visit of Tuesday, Sep 25] I give this restaurant 4 stars for the value; two can pig out for under $30. And we did. The pizza crust with the Caesar Salad was very good. My wife had a dish with Penne, Eggplant, and Tomato Sauce, also very good (there were two or three whole garlic cloves that were cooked in - I devoured those). The olive oil-brushed toasted bread was excellent. The only negative was the iced tea. It was either a bag in the box type or was just a wee bit old.

  • S F.

Meh. Food was ok at best. Actually the only good thing was the veal special. It was pounded and fried with tomatoes and mozz. Everything else was mediocre and under seasoned. Calamari was tender but tasteless. Pasta was cold when it came to the table. We got two rotten carrots in our antipasto. The fact that they even made it on the plate was disappointing. Minestrone was a typical vegetable soup. It was even missing the typical reddish color. They had bang bang shrimp (like bonefish) as a special... Asian'ish shrimp ripped off from another chain as an Italian restaurant's special? Welcome to Weston. Extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend.

  • Jonathan P.

The garlic bread was good. We all order Veal Marsala and it was gross, very gross. Like they poured the sauce out of the can that was sitting on the back shelf for 30 years. More like the Salisbury steak than Marsala? Like they were out of the Marsala wine? Was it thanksgiving dressing? Yuck!I added about a tablespoon of salt and a teaspoon of pepper. Gross. Gross. Gross. This is one of my first yelp reviews and I blow 5k a year on dining out so yes this is REALLY gross.

My wife and I were in the area on a Thursday evening and after a quick search on Yelp decided to come in. This was our first time here. We were seated quickly and there were lots of people enjoying the restaurant. The server came over and reviewed the specials and such. We started with an appetizer order of caprese which tasted OK. We were expecting a more refreshing taste. After we finished the caprese my wife ordered the minestrone soup and I the calamari appetizer. When we received the calamari there was very little to be desired. I wish I would have taken a pic. It just looked like frozen crappy calamari and it tasted just as it looked. It was horrible. The soup looked good but tasted like it had been made last month. I called over the waiter and told him that both plates did not taste good at all. He seemed a bit puzzle so we said it tasted very old. He then went to get the manager. We did not catch his name. He came over and we explained that each plate tasted very old. He took two calamari and placed them in his mouth to eat by hand not using any utensils. He than proceeded to says "Take a look around this is a very popular restaurant and we just made this food. We understand that some people have a different taste". He looked at us like were the bad ones saying that food tasted old. We did not say anything at this point as we just wanted to leave asap. He took off both plates from the check. We paid the ok caprese and left. Manager needs to work on his customer service skills. NEVER going back! If you like fresh food don't go here!!!

Very disappointed ... Service was bad and the special snapper had no taste what so ever. After asking for bread 3 times, we were brought nasty sliced bread. In order to post this, I have to give it a star rating. Tonight it was not worth the 1 star I have to give it

I love chicken fettucini alfredo and of all the places I am had it, this is the best! 5 stars all the way. The noodles are cooked to perfection, the sauce was to die for, the chicken was a perfect blend of tenderness and savory flavor!

Above average Italian. I usually order from the Specials menu. There is always something interesting and it's made to order. I asked for a puttanesca sauce one night although it was not on the menu. Probably could have gotten Joey Toe-cheese wacked - if I wanted. There isn't a lot to say other than you can have a good old fashioned EYE-Talian meal and nice glass of wine here and spend more money than you planned. Oh- and there are some specialty cocktails on the menu, too. Nice outdoor dining area on the side. I recommend... I would not travel far and wide to come here and I don't have to, so I'll be back. If you are in this hood, check it out.

I ate here on Thanksgiving....yes, Thanksgiving. My home was being remodeled so I had to live in the Marriott in Weston Town Center until it was finished. Anyways, this place was the only place close by opened so I decided to give it a try. They offered a traditional Thanksgiving meal but I hate Thanksgiving food do I ordered off the regular menu. I ate the eggplant parmigiana. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't mind blowing. The sauce lacked flavor and the eggplant seems like it wasn't quite ripe yet. The service was okay. The waiter didn't have much of a personality and when I needed a refill he was missing in action. Personally, I won't be coming back here.

My main complaint about the suburbs is the lack of unique dining experiences (okay, maybe not my *only* complaint... but my first one!) Tarantella silences my argument every time I visit. Most recent visit was a Saturday evening - we were in the area, craving something that felt homemade. The two of us were seated outside at a corner table (the inside was a bit loud and cold)... with a pitcher of sangria... and just had a lovely, calm evening. Although I was craving a big ol' bowl of just carbs in the form of pasta, we sprung for the veal in a mushroom sauce (can't remember the name) and the chicken primavera. Also LOVE the bread with olive oil and seasoning on it. Everything was delicious - service was great - and the evening was just perfect. While this place is a tad more expensive than say an Macaroni Grill, it's definitely worth it when you get to feel like you're at someone's home.

Not a good experience with the food. I went with a group and the service was decent, but the food not so much -- flavor was lacking and it just fell flat -- from the cold bread to the seasonless fish.

The food was ok. I ordered the rigatoni rustica and they brought no sausage. The waitress was just ok. Not really attentive at all. Caprese salad was good. The atmosphere was great... Very Italian prices were ok.

Great service! Everybody was very friendly. Our waiter was a woman in her 50s with an accent, she was phenomenal! The food was great, I had the pappardelle with mushrooms and it was very good. Loved our experience.

Tarantella's is far from the madding crowd of Ft. Lauderdale. Even though they are busy, patrons do not feel rushed and the staff are attentive and friendly. The menu is interesting without being overwhelming. My most recent visit I had the appetizer known as Shrimp Alla Christian...de-lish! My friend had Penne with Sausage and Peppers - divine! Everything was made to order and served hot! And, since it was my friends' birthday, we shared a dessert that was a strawberry and marscapone cheese filled pastry. It just does not get better than this!

The rigatoni vodka is great! Ask your server to bring you some parmesan cheese to sprinkle on your bread.

I've eaten here so many times and I can't believe I have never reviewed this place on YELP, well....here goes. We ate there tonight to take advantage of their $10 meal deals. YES They have meals for $10. I had the tilapia picatta with vegetables and it was really great. Hubby had the margarita pizza which is really not such a deal since it's regularly $10.95, but it's still $10 on meal deal night. That was really good too. We each had a cesar salad but we could have shared one, also very good. I often eat lunch here since I work in the Town Center and they have good values on lunch too. It's a great reliable place, the servers are all nice and attentive, and they screw up, they take care of it, and they don't usually screw up. We have been to parties here too and they do a fabulous job, with two different private rooms to choose from. Did I mention the bar? They have very good wine selection and great sangria and mixed beverages. I will be back of course, since it's $10 meals from Mon-Thursday, and I want to try some of the other specials on the list.

I ordered the lasagna and what a disappointment! Barely any meat, sauce everywhere and I had to find the pasta in that mess, it was mostly cheese and sauce. No layers at all! The best thing was the bread that came with it, also we ordered looking at the menu online and when we got there we were charged more and they said their online menu was outdated, no kidding! Very upsetting !!! Food sucked and was overpriced , don't waste your money here !!!

Food poisoning!! I ordered jumbo prawns fra diavola and it clearly was not very fresh. I didn't want to make a stink while on vacation so I ate it and was rewarded with an early morning wake up call of terrible stomache pains and lots of vomiting. I luckily had some anti-diarhea medicine with me. We also ordered the eggplant parm, which was very bland and coated with rubbery cheese. The bruschetta special with avacado and feta was pretty tasty even though the avacado was also past it's prime. They provide warm bread, that's sliced thin and coated with oil and herbs - very tasty but not for the health conscious. --Update-- that food poisoning was terrible. even with my anti-diarhea medicine, i was not able to eat anything else (just tea and veggie stock) for 2 days. and I was exhausted still for 2 more days. stay away!

Although Tarantella is situated awkwardly in Weston Town Center, it still attracts quite a few people. I found the restaurant through Yelp and went with my family on a Friday night. The complimentary fresh baked bread was a great taste of what was to come for the rest of the visit. I counted five members of the staff that interacted with the table during the meal (six, if you count the manager seating us). This created the perception that our business was a concern for the restaurant, and the head waiter made excellent recommendations for each member of the table -- including half price chicken parm and pasta on Tuesdays and Thursdays... although I can't recall which one occurs on which day. Prior to the meal's arrival, I had a feeling that the portions would be rather large, and I was not disappointed. I ate to my heart's content, and at the end, I was completely full. The menu was quite lengthy, I settled on traditional spaghetti and meatballs, and it was delicious. The drink and dessert menus were exceedingly adequate as well. I would recommend Tarantella to anyone looking for excellent Italian cuisine in a casual, friendly environment.

Food was pretty good, the tomato sauce on the pizza was nice, lasagna was a little too creamy and lacked substance. Felt crowded, we were put right next to the kitchen where the plates were coming out despite literally half the restaurant having open tables.

Nestled in the City of Weston, this place is a portal through which you can escape to a simpler life of warm food, good wine & strong coffee - All things best shared with good friends or that "special" friend. I recommend starting with the house salad - a forest of greens, firm tomatoes, crispy onions & savory olives with a smattering of dressing. Then, while making sure there's nothing stuck in your teeth, warm your palette with a glass of house wine or any of the other million selections they offer! When it's time to fill your little belly, may I recommend the Veal - Yes, try the Veal! And if you have space in your right big toe, nothing says "Greed" like scarfing down the Tiramisu & a Cappuccino! With loads of parking & several specialty shops scattered around, this is the place to go and escape it all - Finish off the evening or work off all the food with a leisurely walk around the lake!

I like my reviews short and to the point so here is my review: Food: mediocre. Food was really not what I expected. Lack in taste and presentation. Dessert: they are pre frozzen. You can tell right away they don't make their dessert. Wine list: not bad for the kind of food they have. Location: this is my favority attribute of the restaurant. Weston town center is really pretty to visit at night for dinner. You can eat inside or outside and after eating walk around the town center. Waiter: not the best I really didn't like that they charge 18% gratuity for 5 ppl plus. There are defenetly better restaurant than this one with out a doubt.

I have been eating at Tarantella since they were at their old location (a great restaurant back then). Each time I have eaten at the "new" location it is a little more crowded and a little worse than the previous visit! My last dinner there will likely be my last dinner there! After sitting for 15 minutes with no attention from the waitstaff. We were given waters and soggy bread. We ordered 1 appetizer and two entree's. Nothing complicated, directly from the menu. 20 minutes later our entree's were presented, no sign of an appetizer. Our waitress forgot to order it. I knew that if I insisted on them making my appetizer we would end with the same reheated dinners. We took the the fresh dinners. My Wife's eggplant was a gooey hot mess! My "special" pasta had taglietelle and beef and little if any of the other advertised vegetables (eggplant, sundried tomatoes, onions). The skirt steak tips tasted as if they were on their way out and would not have lasted until the next dinner service. Rather that offering the customary "desert on the house" the manager offered to buy us an appetizer on our next trip to Tarentella (not happening). We were never offered a refill on our glasses of wine or water for that matter. When I asked the busperson for a water refill, she rolled her eyes and stomped off to get some water. The ricotta cheescake although directly from a very cold refrigerator, was quite good once it warmed up a little bit. What once was a quaint, quality neighborhood restaurant is now a large, loud, and mediocre shopping center monster.

Great Italian and seafood. Located in the wonderful Weston Town Center. Having lived in Weston, it is an amazing place to live with lots of great restaurants. This is a must.

We went for lunch and were treated ok, until they learned we had a Groupon. Service slowed to a crawl, never received our drinks(5 requests), The Chicken Parmesan AND Eggplant Parm was obviously frozen and nuked. We did not finish 2/3 of the meal. NO TIP(I always start at 25%) and mischarged us(took 3 of them to figure it out after 20 minutes). As an "Italian Trattoria", Tarantella has a brighter future as a Mexican restaurant, since almost none of the staff spoke English. If I could give this unsanitary dump 0 stars, I would. It's a shame, but the location is difficult, to add to their woes. AVOID!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
